At least 100 families lost their homes while some P4 million in property was destroyed in a fire that hit a residential area in Quiapo, Manila over the weekend, according to a firefighting group.
The fire that broke out Sunday, June 5, reached Task Force Charlie and was placed under control at about 7:58 p.m., TXTFire reported.
Radio reports said no one was initially reported injured in the fire that hit two two-story commercial-residential buildings along Arlegui Street.
Investigators are still determining what caused the fire.
