2 Filipinos injured in Taiwan bus accident

Two Filipinos were among 22 passengers injured in a bus accident in Taiwan last Saturday, Aug. 29, Taiwan’s Central News Agency reported.

CNA reported the bus rolled over while ferrying some 34 tourists in Yangmingshan National Park in northern Taiwan.

Quoting the local fire department, it said the 22 suffered relatively minor injuries.

The 22 included six Taiwanese, five Malaysians, seven Chinese, two Singaporeans and two Filipinos.

Investigation showed Bus No. 108 rolled over near the Lengshuikeng tourist service center. Authorities are still looking into what caused the accident.
