At least three oil firms will increase pump prices big time starting Tuesday, April 21.
Pilipinas Shell and Seaoil said their gasoline products would increase by P1.45 a liter, while diesel would be a peso per liter.
Kerosene, meanwhile, will be higher by P1.05 per liter. The two companies said the adjustment would be effective 12:01 a.m. of Tuesday.
Following the move is independent retailer Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, which will raise prices by 6 a.m.
As in Shell and Seaoil, gasoline will be higher by P1.45 per liter, while the price of diesel will be up by P1 per liter.
Phoenix Petroleum said the increase “reflected the movement in the prices of refined petroleum products in the international market.”
