7 Filipinas arrested in Kuwait
for violating residency laws

Seven Filipinas were arrested in Kuwait allegedly for violating residency laws, a Kuwait news site reported Wednesday, June 15.

Residency detectives arrested the seven during an inspection of some cafes in a Hawally shopping mall, Kuwait Times reported.

Citing security sources, the report said the authorities have summoned the Filipinas’ sponsors.

It did not name or give further details about the seven Filipinas.
