Members of a group calling themselves Anonymous Philippines have started gathering near Manila City Hall where they would hold an “Anti-Corruption March”.

Teddy Taylo, traffic enforcer of the Manila Traffic Bureau, told NewsCentral.PH, however, that he was not aware of any rally scheduled this Thursday, November 5.

He said, however, that the protesters would be asked to occupy one lane of P. Burgos St. in front of Liwasang Bonifacio for their rally.

Police estimate that there are about 40 rallyists as of posting time.

On Tuesday, November 3, the group hacked into the Twitter account of “AlDub” star Maine Mendoza to announce the protest, dubbed “Million Mask March” from Liwasang Bonifacio to Mendiola.

Mendoza has 2.4 million followers.
