Apple is working on a fix for a bug that can crash its iOS 9 operating system for mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads.
The bugs cause iOS 9 to crash or apps to hang when links are tapped, Apple-oriented site 9to5mac reported.
Citing a statement from Apple, 9to5mac said the software update to fix the bug might come in iOS 9.3.1.
But it said Apple did not say when it will release the software update.
“Sources tell us that Apple is working with high-profile developers to help them understand and better use the universal links APIs. The forthcoming software update will presumably let iOS better handle huge payloads files, rather than just crashing on the spot,” it said.
