A group of young students experienced first-hand about what actor Baron Geisler could be like when he’s on “beast mode” after one of them was assaulted by the actor.
On his Facebook account Khalil Versoza recounted the story on May 14:
“We had a school prod for an editorial design campaign, we got him to act, pumayag siya, tapos inayos namin yung script, natagalan ng mga ilang oras at since students kami daming ginagawa so we were pressed with time, late nakapagcoordinate kay baron kaya late yung script na nabigay pero as a director, I made sure na morning ko masend na sa kanya at the very least, kasi maikli lang naman. natuloy kami at nagsorry nung dumating siya sa set pero nagpaparinig na siya na sana kasi maaga binigay yung script, so nagsorry pa rin kami kasi alam naman namin na kasalanan namin,” he said.
(We had a school prod for an editorial campaign, we got him to act he obliged then we fixed the script. It was delayed for a few hours and since we’re students and we’re loaded with school work and pressed for time, we were able to coordinate with Baron late. But as director I made sure that we’d send it to him in the morning the very least cause it’s short anyway. We went on and apologized to him when he arrived on the set but he was saying that we should have sent the script earlier. We still apologized knowing it was our fault.)
Versoza said that it was not right for the actor “to pick on us” having “put our hearts into this production and advocacy”.
“Baron Geisler wala kang karapatan na mag-bastmode kaya sa tingin ko dapat i-post ito para makita lahat na mali yang ginagawa mo,” added Versoza on FB.
(Baron Geisler, you don’t have the right to go on beastmode so we think it’s right for us to post this video so that people would know that you did wasn’t right.).
The post was accompanied by a one-minute video which showed an angry Geisler shouting invectives to Versoza: “Pare I was f***ng tired for f***ng three days. I was working and I do this sh*t for you?! Give me a f***ng board because I look like a f****ng idiot?! P***ng ina buti na lang nasa campus tayo. Lumayo ka sa akin pare, di ako makatimpi p***a lumayo ka P*** seryoso aka pare.”
Versoza pleaded to Geisler and said, “Peace tayo, peace”.
But the actor lunged at him and attacked the student director. Geisler gave Versoza a headlock and shouted: “P***ng i** ka! T***g i** mo! Say f***ng please, motherf****! Alisin mo yan! (pointing to the person who took the video.).
Versoza’s FB account was swarmed with hate messages against Geisler who was bashed by Versoza’s friends for the actor’s alleged misbehaviour.
Here were some of the reactions newscentral.ph gathered:
buti nalang di mo pinatulan khalil. kung sinapak mo ayos lang din pero mas ok na hindi kasi people might spin the story differently pag naging brawl yung ending (although mukhang kailangan nga nya talaga ng ilang sapak sa mukha). at least dito kasing linaw ng sikat ng araw kung sino ang mali. hope you are okay.
Sobrang okay na hindi mo pinatulan. Pero sana rin na hinampas mo yung camera sa mukha niya. Sabihin mo suntukan kami
If he had similar situations like this before, and doesn’t even give sht to any of the consequences, then it’s either he is mentally retarded or he really is trying to keep this kind of image–being a highly emotional and narcissistic a.hole. The fact na siya yung lumalapit sa red shirt dude means that naghahanap talaga siya ng away para magka-‘eksena’. Sue this aggresor’s ass.
Geisler has yet to comment on the incident.
