Mobile gamers not quite content with playing the shooter game “Counter-Strike” on an Android smartphone may want to try the next best thing: playing it on a smartwatch.
Dave Bennett posted a video on YouTube on how he ported the classic game to a smartwatch running Google’s Android Wear operating system.
But while the video gained 261,951 views as of June 4, Bennett also indicated the game experience may not quite be ideal for serious players.
“Have you ever wanted to play Counter Strike on your smartwatch? Probably not, and there’s good reason…,” he said.
Still, Bennett left instructions on how to port “Counter- Strike” to the smartwatch at (http://goo.gl/g9uD9m).
Mashable noted this may not be a practical way to play the game due to the smartwatch’s tiny touchscreen.
Yet, it said the porting to Android Wear is “still impressive as a technical feat” as it “perfectly illustrates how far technology has advanced.”
