For true change to happen, the non-performers in government have to be kicked out.
This was the advice of a senior Catholic Church official to President-elect Rodrigo Duterte, who will formally assume his post on June 30.
Pabillo also chairs the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines’ Episcopal Commission on the Laity.
He said that so long as those who do not do their jobs are in key government posts, there will be no real change.
Also, Pabillo said those in the Cabinet will have a big role to play in implementing the government’s projects. MC
