Police have ended their investigation into the case of “The Voice” singer Christina Grimmie following claims of the killer’s friends that he was obsessed with the female artist.

The Orlando police said that obsession drove Kevin Loibl to shoot Grimmie, who at that time was signing autographs after her show in Florida.

The obsession angle was supported by the friends of Loibl.

CNN also said that Loibl has no criminal records.

Other findings showed that Loibl had two guns, one of which was used in shooting Grimme. Later, the killer shot himself.

Police said that Loibl legally purchased the firearms days before the incident.

Loibl’s family also said that he had no history of mental illness except that he has an aversion to light which was the reason why he covered his bedroom windows with aluminum foil and heavy curtains. MC
