Heavy traffic is expected along the areas near Quirino Grandstand, Luneta from Saturday afternoon, February 25 to Saturday afternoon, Feb. 26, according to the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
“People’s Support for [President Rodrigo] Duterte’s War Against Illegal Drugs, Poverty, and Corruption Vigil is expected to draw 1.5 million participants at Quirino Grandstand from Feb. 25 (5 p.m.) to Feb. 26 (2 p.m.),” the MMDA said in a Twitter post.
“Expect heavy traffic along the area. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes,” it added.
Interior Undersecretary John Castriciones called out to the Filipino people on Feb. 22 to support Duterte in joining the prayer vigil in Luneta.
Castriciones made the call in a press conference at the Club Filipino in San Juan City.
