September 3 2015 9:12 AM

Parts of Isabela province may experience a power interruption lasting up to 10 hours on Thursday, Sept. 3, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said.

In an advisory Wednesday, Sept. 2, the NGCP said the power interruption may last from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and affect areas serviced by ISELCO I’s Cauayan substation.

Affected areas include Cauayan City and Luna town in Isabela, it said.

The NGCP said this is to accommodate the request of Isabela Biomass Energy Corporation (IBEC) and the replacement of line hardware along the Santiago-Cauayan 69-kilovolt line.
