No class suspension for college level

The Office of the Executive Secretary has not issued class suspension for college levels, despite the scheduled nationwide transport strike on Monday, February 27.

“As of this time, the Office of the President has not received any recommendation to suspend classes in the college level,” it said on Monday.

Universities and colleges were free to suspend classes as deemed necessary per schools’ own assessment, according to the Office of the Executive Secretary.

On Feb. 26, Malacanang declared suspension of classes for elementary and high school levels in Metro Manila due to scheduled transport strike on Monday.
