After losing to Australian Jeff Horn,   Senator Manny Pacquiao  said  he is  now considering  the proposals of his family and other people to retire   from  boxing.

Sa ngayon,  hindi ko muna masasagot  yan,” Pacquiao said  in an interview  over ABS-CBN’s  TV Patrol on Monday,  July 3.

“Mag relax muna ako, mag recover muna ako sa pananakit ng katawan and then after that  pag relax na,  saka na siguro mapag-isipan ng mabuti,”   he said.

Asked  about  other people’s suggestion that he should  just forget about boxing and  instead concentrate on his work in the Senate, Pacquiao   agreed as he promised to start reviewing the  bills that he intends to file.

Pacquiao, nevertheless,  insisted that he did  everything  he could  to beat  the Australian boxer  but blamed  the referee  for failure to stop  Horn’s  dirty tricks during their fight  on Sunday, July 2.  Horn  stole  the WBO welterweight title  from Pacquiao via  unanimous decision.
