to open condolence book for Maceda

Embassy of the Philippines photo from Embassy of the Philippines Washington DCThe Philippine embassy in Washington will open on Thursday, June 30, a condolence book where the public can leave messages for the family of the late Senator and Ambassador to Washington Ernesto Maceda.

In a post on its website, the embassy said the condolence book will be open from June 30 to July 1, and July 5 to 7.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Maceda family during this time of sorrow,” it said.

According to the embassy, the condolence book is “in honor of the Ambassador’s long and dedicated service to our country and to the Filipino people.”

The embassy said the public may sign on the condolence book at 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. MC
