Police detain de Lima
at PNP Custodial Center

Senator Leila de Lima will be detained at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame, where former Senators Ramon “Bong” Revilla and Jinggoy Estrada have been detained.

De Lima voluntarily surrendered to the arresting team of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).

On Feb. 23, the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 204 issued a warrant of arrest against de Lima and two others for their alleged involvement on the illegal drugs inside the New Bilibid Prison (NBP).

On Feb. 17, the Department of Justice (DOJ) filed three cases against de Lima and seven others.

The Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC), the National Bureau of Investigations (NBI), and former NBI officials filed the complaints at the DOJ.
