Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo took her oath as the second highest official of the country on Thursday, June 30.

Robredo was sworn in as the 14th vice president of the Philippines before Barangay Captain Rolando Coner, of Punta Tarawal, the smallest, farthest and poorest town of Camarines Sur’s third district, and Barangay Captain Regina Celeste San Miguel of Mariana in Quezon City.

Robredo took her oath at the Quezon City Reception House amid a petition by Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos before the Supreme Court to stop her inauguration over allegations of poll fraud during the May 9 elections.
