Here’s something worth waiting for, fans of Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones: a foldable Galaxy phone, if a new Samsung patent becomes reality.
The patent showed a design that lets a future Galaxy smartphone fold and reveal a hidden port connector bar, Patently Mobile reported.
“The smartphone will charge in the folded position,” it said.
It said the potential phone is meant to be a higher-end device, that may support a fingerprint sensor or an iris scanner.
Samsung filed the patent application in November 2015.
A separate report on 9to5google said the prototype looks like a regular device when open, but can fold with a horizontal cut in the middle.
