Oil firms announce P0.15/L rollback,
raise in gas, diesel prices effective June 7

(UPDATED as of 1:35 p.m. PH time) Three oil companies announced a rollback in gasoline prices by 15 centavos per liter while increasing that for diesel with the same amount effective Tuesday, June 7.

Eastern Petroleum will be the first to bring down the price of gasoline at 12:01 a.m. while Shell and Phoenix will follow suit at 6 a.m., according to the oil firms in separate statements on Monday, June 6.

Eastern Petroleum will also increase the price of diesel by 15 centavos per liter starting at 12:01 a.m. while Shell and Phoenix will follow at 6 a.m.

Last week, oil companies raised prices of gasoline, diesel and kerosene.
