A Taiwanese faces murder charges for allegedly killing a transgender in Pasay City, stuffing the victim’s remains in a suitcase and leaving it in Cavite last weekend, according to radio reports on Monday, June 6.
The transgender’s mother lodged the complaint against the Taiwanese, initially identified as Tsai, 25, after police arrested and detained him.
Investigators said closed-circuit television footage showed Tsai and the victim quarreling as they entered the residential building late June 3, Taiwan’s Central News Agency reported.
The footage showed Tsai dragging his luggage out of the building in the early hours of June 4.
Police arrested Tsai when he returned to his home at around noon June 4 and disclosed the location of the victim’s remains.
