Up to moderate rain
over most of PH July 1

Pagasa-6-30-2016The first day of the second half of the year will be rainy in most parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Thursday, June 30.

In its 5 p.m. bulletin, Pagasa said this is due to the Inter-tropical Convergence Zone affecting Visayas and Mindanao.

For Friday, Pagasa said cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms will be likely over:

– Visayas

– Mindanao

– Aurora, Quezon, Palawan and Mindoro provinces

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Also, Pagasa said light to moderate winds from the east to southeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the southwest to southeast over the rest of the country.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. MC
