Hunk cop captures first-ever
Misters of the Philippines title

Police Officer 2 Mariano Flormata Jr., a.k.a. Neil Perez, has become the first-ever Misters of the Philippines – International 2014.

The 29-year-old also received several awards — Best Swimwear, Mr. Photogenic, Mr. Unisilver, Mr. Informatics and Multidestination Global Link Travel Award. He also won the Crossfit Challenge during the pageant on Sunday, September 7, at the Grand Theater of the University of Makati. He will represent the country in the Mister International Pageant in South Korea in October.

Other pageant winners were: Nicko Dela Cruz, Mister Sta Cruz, Manila – first runner up; Judah Cohen, Mister Filipino-USA – Mister Tourism International; Adam Davis, Mister Filipino-UK – Mister Model International; Joseph Doruelo, Mister Caloocan City- Mister Global Philippines.

Flormata, a member of the Philippine National Police’s Aviation Security Group, competed against other 25 candidates. He drew public attention when reports came out that a young policeman with moreno good looks was joining a male pageant.

PNP Spokesperson Police Chief Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac immediately sent congratulatory notes to Flormata.
