President Rodrigo Duterte’s first television show will be airing this Friday night, May 19, one of his officials said.
“This is it! Mula sa Masa Para sa Masa with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Rocky Ignacio airs at 7:00 tonight (May 19),” Communications Secretary Martin Andanar posted on Facebook.
Ignacio is the Malacañang reporter of state-run People’s Television 4.
Andanar said the show, which was pre-taped, would be aired on PTV and featured on the official Facebook pages of Presidential Communications, PTV and “Mula sa Masa Para sa Masa.”
The Palace official said the show aimed “to communicate the policies of the Duterte administration to the masses straight from the President himself.
During his term as Davao City mayor, Duterte had a weekly show called “Gikan sa Masa, Para sa Masa,” which aired every Sunday.
