The Philippines playing host to the 27th Asia-­Pacific Economic Conference (Apec) was clearly the top Business story of 2015. Twenty-­one world leaders, including US President Barack Obama and Chinese president Xi Jinping, were on hand to discuss strategies on how to promote inclusive growth worldwide. In relation to this, President Benigno Aquino III signed two economic bills into law that would prepare the Philippines for Asean integration.
