It is forecast to move west-northwest at 22 kph and is expected to be 130 kms northeast of Dagupan City Monday afternoon, June 27, and 705 kms east of Laoag City Tuesday afternoon, June 28.

Under Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1 are:

  • Catanduanes
  • Camarines Norte
  • Northern Quezon including Polillo Islands
  • Aurora
  • Quirino

Residents in areas under Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal 1 were alerted against possible flash floods and landslides.

Pagasa said Ambo may landfall over Aurora early Monday morning, then weaken after that.

It may cross Nueva Vizcaya, Nueva Ecija, Quirino, Benguet, Pangasinan, and La Union.

Pagasa said Ambo may bring 2.5 to 10 mm per hour (moderate to heavy) rain within its 200-kms diameter.

It also warned of occasional moderate to heavy rain over Northern and Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and Bicol.  MC
