3 hurt in shootout between 2 cops
inside Quezon City precinct

At least three persons were wounded, one of them seriously, after two policemen engaged in a shootout right inside a police station in Quezon City Wednesday afternoon, March 16, according to a radio report.The incident occurred at the Police District Station 12 in the Eastwood-Libis area, the report said.
Chief Superintendent Edgardo Tinio< QCPD district director, was quoted as saying that two policemen fired at each other inside the precinct at 3:30 p.m.
Tinio said the two were identified as Police Officer 1 Ducusin and Police Officer 2 Valdez. Initial investigation also showed the two were former classmates.
Tinio said a senior police supervisor, who tried to intervene, was wounded and in critical condition. He was not identified.
He said the station commander of the Eastwood precinct may be relieved from his post following the incident.
