Who is the richest member of the House of Representatives of the 16th Congress? What about the poorest?
A copy of the summary report of 238 House lawmakers’ statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN) posted on social media on Wednesday, June 8, showed that the richest was Representative Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao of Sarangani and the poorest was Rep. Fernando Hicap of party-list Anakpawis.
Pacquiao’s net worth in 2015 was P3.268 billion, higher than his net worth of P1.688 billion in 2014.
Rep. Julio Ledesma IV of Negros Occidental joined Pacquiao in the billlionaires’ club as he recorded P1.004 billion networth in 2015, up from P822.275 million in 2014 when he was ranked No. 5.
